The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) – what is it?

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) was set up by the UK Government in April 2014. This is another scheme that is geared up to encourage the uptake of renewable heat technologies amongst UK households, communities and businesses through financial incentives. This is the first scheme of its kind in the world and the UK Government fully expects RHI to contribute towards the 2020 target of 12% of heating coming from renewable sources.

In order to get started you will need an up to date EPC.

RHI payments are made quarterly over a seven-year period, the amount you can receive differs depending on a number of factors – including the technology you have installed and the latest tariffs available for each of those technologies.

For more information on RHI or to book in your EPC please feel free to contact us and we are more than happy to help.
